Independent hip-hop recording artist Jaal derives from the South-East suburbs of Melbourne, home to local greats and many of the leaders revolutionising the creative landscape of Australia. Jaal brings a brand-new flavour to the local Hip-Hop scene. The 22-year-old artist mixes the raw expression and lyrical ability of the Boom Bap era with the modern soundscape and flows of newer music, all while allowing his South Sudanese & Australian heritage to be colourfully displayed.
